The Maquis raider is light attack ship. The raider was in common use by disgruntled Federation citizens, called the Maquis, after the signing of the Cardassian peace treaty until the start of the Dominion war. The Maquis used the raider for border raids against the Cardassians, or in packs of ten or more to attack Cardassian war ships.
